How do I save a recipe from TikTok or Instagram?
Tap Share on the post, then pick Watchpan. The recipe is read from the caption and saved. If the caption has no recipe, open it in Watchpan and add the ingredients, or record them while you watch.
Can I save from any website?
Yes. Share the page from Safari, or paste the link under Add a recipe. Most recipe sites work straight away; for others, Watchpan reads the page's text.
How do I scan a cookbook?
Tap +, then Scan a page. The camera finds the page edges. Up to four pages are read as one recipe.
Why are my cups shown in grams?
Watchpan is metric first: flour, sugar, butter and other dry things are weighed in Europe. Tap US on a recipe to see the original cups and spoons.
How does translation work?
Under You, My languages, pick the languages you read. Your recipes are translated into them, and a friend's recipe can be translated into one of them from its language button.
What does the free plan include?
Unlimited recipes, collections and shopping lists. Scans, recordings, imports and translations have a generous daily allowance, shown under You.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to You, then Delete my account. Everything is deleted.
